Huge Announcement: 20 Half Scholarships Funded!

MAA Patron Campaign.png

The Midwest Artist Academy is committed to removing all barriers that come between young people and their art.  This includes financial barriers.  To this end, today we’re excited to launch the Patron Campaign—an opportunity for patrons of the arts to come together in common cause for the benefit of the next generation of artists.

Kicking things off are Mel and Leann Breed, who have generously created 20 half scholarships for summer 2021!  This means that 20 of our 50 students will receive an all-inclusive one-week experience (lodging, meals, extracurricular activities, art supplies, course work, instruction, etc.) for the reduced rate of 375.00!

We are so excited to provide scholarship support for the MAA,” Mel and Leann said.  “It is a wonderful opportunity for young people to learn that the arts can enrich their lives, forever.

“We are so excited to provide scholarship support for the MAA,” Mel and Leann said.  “It is a wonderful opportunity for young people to learn that the arts can enrich their lives, forever.”

They said it!  And that’s exactly what we intend to do!

By giving to the Midwest Artist Academy, you’re not only supporting young people’s art, you’re supporting young people’s lives.  In these difficult times, be the light at the end of the tunnel for a young person.

Please consider making a donation of any size today.  If you would like to follow Mel and Leann’s lead of creating scholarships, consider for whom you might name them.  Let’s honor the legacy of those who’ve come before by way of scholarships for the next generation.

Your donation is needed now more than ever, and it can be easily made through our University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Foundation account by clicking here.

Simply put, it takes a community to build one, and we can’t build one without you.  Today is the day you can choose to change the life of a young person.  Make that choice.

Secure your place on our giving wall, enjoy some great perks, but most of all, bet big on the future.  Our world depends on them.

Warmly,

B.J. Hollars
